CTPAT Certification and Advisory Services
The CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) Program is a joint initiative between U.S. CBP (Customs and Border Protection) and the private sector, which seeks to enhance international supply chain security through cooperation.
In a continuously globalizing marketplace, threats and vulnerabilities are ever more present; the participation of CTPAT Partners provides an extra layer of security from threats emanating from abroad. CTPAT Partners earn the distinction to declare themselves compliant with CTPAT MSC (Minimum Security Criteria) and in turn, are given benefits that include, but not limited to the following:

Reduced CBP inspections

A chance for further mitigation for members for Penalty Fines arising from Importer Security Filing

Reprioritization of examination of containers at the Centralized Examination Station

Expedited Entry for FDA cargo

FAST Lane access for international border crossings conducted via Mexico and/or Canada

Customs Bond Procurement
All CTPAT applicants are required to provide proof of financial responsibility vis-a-vis a Customs bond. If you do not currently have a Customs bond in place, we will be able to assist you with this process.

CTPAT Certification
We will generate a customized CTPAT security procedure manual and instruct you, step-by-step, on how to properly implement required processes. We also assist in managing your online CTPAT Portal account and will work alongside with you and your CTPAT SCSS to address any further points and/or actions required to earn you a positive Certification.

CTPAT Validation
Upon obtaining a Certification status, CTPAT Partners are to begin preparing for their Validation (physical site-visit). Along with the continued guidance in assisting with the implementation and maintenance of your CTPAT compliance security procedures, we begin preparing you for what to expect when meeting your CTPAT SCSS for the first time. Our Pre-Validation “Walk-Throughs” ensure your confidence in having all required criteria properly satisfied.

CTPAT Annual Review
As part of a CTPAT Partner’s commitment to the on-going compliance of CTPAT MSC, said Partners are expected to internally complete and submit (at the anniversary date of their initial Certification) an Annual Review Report. Prior to that point, we perform external audits of your procedures throughout the year and provide automated revisions to your CTPAT security procedure manual as criteria change.
